MASS OF REMEMBRANCE
The parish family wishes to assure all those who have lost a dear one during the past year that we are ever here with our prayers and support. During the month of November, a special Mass of Remembrance is scheduled for the family members of the deceased. Parishioners are invited, and following the Mass, the Parish Council provides a reception in the rectory dining room. "We believe that all the ties of friendship and affection which knit us as one throughout our lives do not unravel with death." (From the Vigil Service for the Deceased) |
CHRISTMAS BLESSING & ENTHRONING OF THE FIGURE OF THE INFANT JESUS IN THE FAMILY MANGER
Our young people are invited to bring a figure of the Infant Jesus from their family crèche to the 5:00PM Mass on Christmas Eve. This figure is blessed during Mass then returned to the family crèche where the figure of the Infant Jesus is enthroned in the manger. A brief ceremony for the placing of the figure of the Infant Jesus is distributed for use at home. |

New and old parishioners are invited to a Welcoming Mass which is followed by a reception hosted by the Parish Council in the rectory dining room.
