Welcome to the web site of Holy Family Parish, New Rochelle, New York. Our parish, established in 1913, was built on the courageous faith of people of humble beginnings.
The founders of our parish dared to dream of building a community of faith. From the small group who gathered for the first Mass on August 10, 1913 in a storefront that had been a butcher's shop we have grown into a large parish serving over 1400 faithful each week. Through the sacrifices of those who have gone before us the butcher shop has given way to a building comparable to a basilica. However, let us remember that we are not to rely on buildings or institutions but in the Spirit that unites us a family and emboldens us to witness to the Gospel and so serve Our God and His people.
We welcome you to Holy Family, a parish that has grown dynamically and continues to do so into this new millennium. We hope that the information found on this site will be of help to you. God bless you!
