Are you the Parent of a 4 or 5 year-old?
Our SEEDS OF FAITH PROGRAM, which takes place during the 9:00AM Mass on Sunday, is a program designed especially for four and five year-olds. The children experience the Sunday Gospel at their level of understanding through stories, activities, and songs. The goals of Early Childhood Religious Education are for the children to grow in their knowledge and experience of God.
This Sunday program assists parents in making their young children aware of God and provides an atmosphere of church for children at their level while freeing parents to worship at the Sunday Liturgy. It is designed to be a readiness experience for the more formal religious education children will receive in years to follow.
Children are taught by two trained adult catechists assisted by volunteer aides. They will experience the Sunday Gospel at their level of understanding through stories, activities and songs. They will discover their special place in a friendly, caring, environment, where the presence of Jesus is felt.
